Connect outdoors
Cornish Retreat
26th - 30th March 2025
Welcome to our Cornish Retreat, offering women & non-binary people a safe space to explore the outdoors and connect with nature and one another. Here, you are celebrated and cherished exactly as you are and I hope to foster a sense of belonging, so that you can create friendships that last long past the retreat’s end.
Adventure can mean something different to us all. This is a judgement free space for you to let go and explore what brings you joy in the outdoors: bathe in the elements; run free into the waves; connect with new friends; and take up space!
We will explore Cornwall’s outstanding coastline, visit magical swim spots, eat dinner al-fresco on the beach, and just slow down. I encourage you to retreat your way and only partake in activities if they will fill your cup and leave you feeling uplifted and rejuvenated.
Meet your host
I'm a full-time mum living in Cornwall and introducing my daughter to the outdoors. Before my little girl came along I studied environmental conservation and worked as an environmental campaigner.
Following an ADHD diagnosis at 30, I realised why the outdoors has been so transformative for my wellbeing, and I believe everybody has the right to experience joy and healing in nature.
I'm making it my mission to remove the barriers that stop women and non-binary folk from getting outdoors and connecting with one another.
Your home from home
Rosemerryn House
Nestled in the magical surrounds of its own woodland is this absolute gem; she is a unique, cozy family home, just 5 minutes from the sea, housing up to 11 people.
Rosemerryn's peaceful setting will make you feel calmer as soon as you arrive. You can look forward to morning cuppas in the garden room and cozy evenings cooking in the country kitchen.
With space aplenty, you will have ample opportunity to seek solitude if and when you want it.
Location
Lamorna Cove sits on the SW coast path at the foot of a wooded valley, with Mousehole (and Penzance) to the north and Porthcurno to the south. If you've watched Poldark, you may be familiar with this picture postcard spot!
At the foot of the cove's slipway is a small sandy and pebbled beach which disappears at high tide. No matter the tide, swimming in the cove is a delight.
Five minutes upstream is Rosemerryn's seven acres of woodland: a mix of native trees, wildflowers, and huge rhododenrons, all of which you are welcome to explore throughout your stay.
Price
Price per person for this 4 night retreat ranges from £450 to £500.
Research shows that Cost is one of the biggest barriers stopping women and non-binary people from getting outdoors. Therefore, to make this as inclusive as possible, I want to offer you the chance to pay what you can afford within that range. Those of you able to afford the upper end of this range will be helping another person to attend the retreat who otherwise may have been excluded.
A £100 deposit is required upon booking, with the remaining balance due no later than 10 weeks prior to your arrival.

4 nights accommodation at Rosemerryn House.

Getting there
By road: Rosemerryn is 15-20 minutes drive west of Penzance. From Newlyn follow the B3315 past Mousehole and through Sheffield towards Lamorna Cove. Drive past the left turning to Lamorna Cove and continue up the hill towards Boleigh. On the right, you will see a small lane down to Rosemerryn. The house sign and a green wheelie bin can usually be seen beside the entrance to the lane.
By public transport: The nearest bus and train stations are in Penzance, next door to each other. Please let me know if this is how you intend to travel and I will arrange for you to be collected by myself or, if possible, another guest should they be able to.
